An
enthusiastic adult volunteer is needed to manage the learning process of
adult volunteers in Horsham Weald
Scout District.
You are
likely to be an experienced team leader or manager and have bucket-loads of
enthusiasm and energy. You will have skills or an interest in adult learning.
As the
Local Training Manager you will:
- Act as line manager for a Local Training Administrator.
- Act as line manager for a small team of Training Advisers.
- Plan and ensure that all adults in the District have access to suitable learning opportunities appropriate to their role.
- Be an active member of the County Training Team.
- Liaise closely with the local Scout District management team
Previous
experience of Scouting as a child or adult is not essential but would be
useful. Full training and induction will be provided.
Enhanced
DBS check and references will be required.
You will
be able and willing to travel within West Sussex and have access to your own
car/transport, for which expenses will be paid.
Ideally you
will be based/live within or near to the Horsham or Southwater area and be able
to undertake admin duties from home.
