Role
description:
To assist the District Commissioner to promote and monitor the
delivery of the Scout programme in the Scout Sections across the Horsham Weald District.
The Assistant District Commissioner [Scouts] (ADC [Scouts]) role will include
periodically meeting with Scout Leaders, visiting Troop meetings and arranging
District events supported by a team of District Leaders.
This appoint is subject to satisfactory references and safeguarding checks.
Time
commitment:
The role will require time during evenings and at weekends. It is
difficult to identify the time required but consideration should be given to on
average 4 hours a week.
Travel:
An ability to travel around the District is required.
Training:
Training will be required to fulfil this role effectively.
