Role
description:
This is a small but growing Scout Group that requires a Group
Scout Leader (GSL) to work with the Chairman, Executive Committee and leaders
to help promote and grow the group further.
Previous Scouting experience is not
essential but preferred.
It is primarily a management roles to support the
delivery of the Scout programme to the young people of this rural community.
This appoint is subject to satisfactory references and safeguarding checks.
Time
commitment:
The role will require time during evenings and at weekends. It is
difficult to identify the time required but consideration should be given to on
average 4 hours a week.
Training:
Training will be required to fulfill this role effectively.
